January is World Health Esteem Month!
Instead of making resolutions that we often break, how about we do something different. Let's simply start appreciating where we are in our health journey. From there, we can build on the things that are working. That's a lot more positive than beating ourselves up for what we don't do; or depriving ourselves of things we eventually go back to in a month or two. So if you drank one glass of water yesterday, congratulate yourself on that. See if you can drink two tomorrow. If you don't accomplish that, try again, and look for other things you do that are great for you. Love yourself through your flaws and missteps. Start your year off on a positive note. Be kind, be gracious, be compassionate, be patient and be honest with yourself. This is one of the best ways to start the process of taking good care of yourself.
