Thank You

In thinking of the meaning of this holiday, it's a bit hard to be jovial. Today we celebrate those who never returned home from war. It feels strange to say it but Happy Memorial Day. I would like to take a moment to say Thank You.

Thank you so very much.

Thank you.

I salute those brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for this country. I also would like to express my gratitude to the families of those who lost their lives for our freedom. To the wives, the husbands, the mothers, the fathers, the children and all the loved ones who have had to bury soldiers, I remember you too and thank you so much for your sacrifice.

"Forgive my grief for one removed,

Thy creature, whom I found so fair.

I trust he lives in thee, and there

I find him worthier to be loved."

Excerpt from In Memoriam A.H.H. by Lord Alfred Tennyson

Enjoy the food, the fireworks, and the family time.
